Venture Forward Capital welcomes Julie Bevacqua as Partner and Chief Platform Officer. Bringing 25 years of entrepreneurial and growth expertise, Julie will help support the fund's portfolio companies as they navigate key growth phases.

Julie began her career in enterprise B2B software, where she led global marketing and business development at Aptean, a billion-dollar enterprise software company. There she drove growth through the integration of 20+ acquisitions into a unified go-to-market strategy. At QuickMobile (acquired by Cvent), she repositioned its mobile event platform to attract Fortune 1000 clients.

She then built Rise People, Canada's first complete HR, payroll, and benefits platform, which secured backing from Sun Life. Her current ventures include co-founding Function, which helps founders gain the financial clarity needed to scale, and Uphealth, an AI platform focused on improving workplace well-being.

At Venture Forward Capital, Julie combines her enterprise growth experience and entrepreneurial success to give portfolio companies a distinct advantage. Having driven product and go-to-market strategies through organic growth and acquisition and founded and advised multiple successful startups, she brings deep insight into what it takes to accelerate growth and scale businesses at every stage - from early market positioning to major acquisitions and exits.
