Venture Forward Capital welcomes Josh Booty as Partner and Head of Business Development, adding another leader to its team. A former professional athlete turned business executive, Josh brings a unique perspective shaped by his success in both sports and business.

His remarkable journey started in Major League Baseball when the Marlins signed him to what was then the largest bonus in MLB history. After baseball, Josh quarterbacked at Louisiana State University under Nick Saban and Jimbo Fisher before going on to play in the NFL with the Seattle Seahawks, Cleveland Browns, and Oakland Raiders. His athletic achievements also include two silver medals with Team USA at the Olympic Festival and World Games.

Since founding Dream Big Ventures LLC, Josh has built a powerful network across multiple industries. His strategic partnerships include Madison Capital Group in real estate investment and development, AFS.net, which provides differentiated logistics services to over 1,800 customers, and MerchantProcessing.com, providing credit card processing, merchant accounts, and payment solutions for businesses.

As co-founder of Bula Technologies Inc., he's helping innovate in the sports betting space through the Bula Challenge App, a platform that combines sports wagering with social gameplay. He also serves as Brand Ambassador for LA GOLF, creators of the most technologically advanced golf products in the game, and Los Linderos Tequila, a premium spirits brand hand-crafted in Jalisco, Mexico.

You can still find Josh deeply connected to sports through his regular appearances on The Bleav Podcast Network, Fox Sports Radio, and ESPN Radio. He's even ventured into entertainment, appearing on Days of Our Lives and winning MLB's The Next Knuckler reality show. More recently, he suited up again to play quarterback for USA Football against The European Football League All-Stars in Berlin, and continues his role on the National QB Club board.
